Project Cross Sections

I really love the way citrus looks when it’s sliced and dried. For this series, I used oranges, blood oranges, lemons, and limes, dried the slices, and then photographed them on a light table.

The light brings out all these little details that you don’t normally notice – the patterns in the flesh, the texture of the rind, and the different colors and shapes. I like how something so familiar can start to look almost like another kind of object when you see it this way.

These prints are currently available as limited editions with a edition size of 20. The prints are 11.5"x11.5", mounted on a wood panel, varnished and framed in a floating frame. Contact me for more details.
